Short version: I organize things for a living. Long version below. (It’s not that long. I respect your time.)

The accounting part
I started in audit, then worked in nonprofit accounting, then taught accounting at the college level for years. Audit teaches you to follow information from where it starts to where it ends up, and to notice where it falls through the cracks. Teaching taught me to explain it without making anyone feel dumb.
The brain part
I’m autistic and I have ADHD. My working memory is not a reliable storage system, so I stopped asking it to be one. I build systems because I need them, and I got good at it out of necessity.
It also means I write instructions in clear, numbered steps. You’re welcome.
The life part
I’m a mom of two in Queens, NY. I know what it’s like to keep a household’s appointments, paperwork, and forms in your head while also running a business. That’s half the reason this site has a “For your home” section.
How I like to work
- In writing, mostly. You get time to think, and so do I.
- Clear steps, no jargon. If I can’t explain it simply, I haven’t built it right.
- Simple over clever. If a spreadsheet does the job, you get a spreadsheet.
- Honest about AI. I use it where it saves time, and I’ll tell you where it doesn’t.
Unrelated but true
- Two dogs, Chase and Nova. They do not respect systems.
- Broadway, any chance I get. Rent and Hamilton are on permanent repeat.
- I train in a mix of Jeet Kune Do and boxing. Turns out I like a system for punching, too.
